Isuzu certified the new Isuzu MU-X SUV for Russia

Japanese carmaker Isuzu has finally certified the new Isuzu MU-X frame SUV for the Russian market. The SUV is based on the same platform that is used to make the Isuzu D-MAX pickup truck. The manufacturer also thought about safety, endowing the model with a large package of systems to ensure a comfortable ride without risk.



If we consider the performance and overall dimensions of the novelty, it is a direct competitor to the popular Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Toyota Fortuner crossovers. The length of the car is 4850 mm, the width is 1870 mm, and the height reaches 1875 mm. The ground clearance is very impressive and is equal to 235 mm, so you can safely drive a car even on very bad roads.

Under the hood, the novelty upon purchase will have one of two available options for a turbocharged diesel engine. The basic version is a 1,9-liter engine with 150 hp. With. with a torque of 350 N * m - paired with a manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

As an alternative, a 3,0-liter diesel engine with 190 hp is offered. With. Its torque is 450 N * m, the internal combustion engine is paired only with an automatic transmission. Such an engine is widely used in trucks of the Japanese brand due to its high-torque power.



Russian buyers will be able to choose one of the many body colors at their discretion. As for the price, it is assumed that the new SUV will not be inferior in price to its counterpart in the face of the D-MAX. We remind you that the price for the latter starts from 2,76 million rubles.
