The updated Yamaha MT-10 received new optics. The motorcycle is now available in several new color schemes.

The most important change is the updated engine. It will remain with a displacement of 998 cm3, but its power will increase to 164 hp. With. Not so much, given that before restyling the engine developed 160 hp. With.

But on the other hand, the engine is now more high-torque on the bottoms - the maximum torque is reached at 8 rpm. Previously, the motor was rather sporty and gave these characteristics at 000 rpm.

Accordingly, the fuel consumption of the novelty also decreased, albeit slightly. To make the bike as environmentally friendly as possible, Japanese engineers installed new mufflers. They also worked on the sound of the exhaust - now at low revs the bike growls, and at high revs it roars in a sporty way.

The digital instrument panel has also been changed - it is even colored in the basic version. Previously, this was installed only on an expensive SP modification. It was decided to abandon the old monochrome LCD-tidy.

In general, the motorcycle has become more urban, it is noticeable even in ergonomics. The manufacturer decided to clearly distinguish between sports bikes and naked bikes. In the updated model, the location of the footpegs, handlebars and seat is adjusted for longer and more comfortable trips.



The Yamaha MT-10 motorcycle debuted a long time ago - in 2015, and has been mass-produced since 2016. In order not to repeat their mistakes with the FZ-1 model, which was not updated from 2006 to 2015, the new bike is periodically upgraded.

In 2015, Yamaha decided to launch a new model on the market. This update is also due to the fact that the motorcycle was created on the chassis of the sports R1, and this sport bike has changed radically by 2015.

When exactly the official sales of the updated Yamaha MT-10 will start is still not reported, but the debut will most likely be in the US.
