Affordable KYMCO Like 125 EV Electric Scooter Coming Soon in Europe

In its press release, the Taiwanese company, which is one of the leaders in the production of scooters in Asia, announced a new product. This is an electric model, which will arrive both on the local market and in European countries in the coming months.


The Like series refers to low-power urban and suburban transport, ideal for short-distance travel. The electric scooter will allow you to move around without harming the environment. But the most important thing is that the price will be 1200 euros. This is one of the cheapest options. Given the company's reputation, the model has no competitors in this segment.

With a power of 3,2 kW or 4,3 liters. With. it seems that this is not enough for a dynamic ride. But the impressive torque at the rear wheel of 124 N * m suggests that everything is in order with acceleration.



Batteries are located under the seat, two removable elements of 13 Ah weigh 5 kg each. The design also has a built-in 11 Ah battery that allows you to travel if the main batteries are removed and charged. IONEX batteries are used, which are distinguished by a long resource.



Also under the seat is a luggage compartment with a volume of 27 liters. It is enough to accommodate a standard helmet or three additional batteries. With them, the power reserve of the scooter is a solid 200 km, if you ride together.

On the dashboard, in addition to the speedometer, battery indicator and power meter, there is a GPS screen, which allows you not to be distracted during the trip and arrive at the desired point. The glove box has a USB port for charging smartphones and other devices.



The scooter weighs 110 kg and is easy to maneuver. The presence of a reverse gear adds convenience. In general, there is no doubt that the model will be comfortable to use and well-assembled. The Taiwanese manufacturer produces high-quality equipment designed for everyday use.



The company's management stressed that the tests have been completed and preparatory work is underway at production facilities, the necessary components are being purchased. After the completion of the mandatory formal procedures, Like 125 EV will begin to be produced. Moreover, it is planned to immediately reach large volumes, since both Asia and Europe are interested in the novelty. The exact date of the start of sales will be announced within a month.
