Heat: save fuel and improve the engine

The summer heat has a negative effect on both people and cars: did yours start badly, “idle” ones began to “float” and fuel consumption increased? There is a simple solution that most hardly guess. It's all about the adsorber, or rather its valve.

This small device captures "extra" fuel vapors and then returns them to the combustion chamber, thus saving fuel. The tank is not directly connected to the atmosphere: the message goes through the carbon filler of the adsorber. With a faulty valve, vapors can begin to burst the fuel tank. If you hear a characteristic "zilch" when unscrewing its lid, as if you unscrewed the cork from soda, it's time to work on the adsorber! All this happens when the valve is stuck in the closed position. What if it's the other way around?

Then the fuel goes directly to the cylinders, re-enriching the mixture. In this case, you have to turn the starter for a long time: without air, gasoline burns poorly. Then the reverse “picture” occurs - the vapors sucked in by the combustion chamber quickly evaporate, but there is no make-up. More air enters the engine and the mixture becomes poor: the engine “pulls” poorly, idle speed “floats”. So what to do, how to check the condition of the adsorber valve for operability, and then what? The master talks about this in detail in the video on the youtube channel "Denis MEKHANIK".
What do you think about the malfunction of the adsorber?
