Wheels made of plastic pipes: put and go!

Tires are probably the most worn part of the suspension car. Well, isn't it possible to make them somehow more durable, so that they "walk" at least 100 thousand km. And the idea works in this direction! Especially clearly the guys from the channel "Garage 54". In search of a suitable material for durable and comfortable wheels, the experimenters unexpectedly settled on PVC pipes.

And what? They can be quickly connected using plastic fittings and a special soldering iron, which, of course, can be found in the workshop. And now everything is ready: it remains to securely fasten three "pipe" wheels on the rear brake drums. When lowering the jack, it seemed that the plastic would not withstand and would be crushed under the weight of the car. But no! The car was lowered, and it firmly stood on the new “shoe”, which, by the way, did not quite turn out to be round.

We start the engine and leave the "assembly shop". The car reluctantly moves off and moves forward: plastic, contrary to expectations, does not fall apart on the first bump. The driver even claims: it doesn’t shake much - sometimes the car even drives with a slip. The greater the speed, the less holes, i.e. vibrations. Well, then gradually “drive” the speedometer needle to the right. What will happen next and how will the trip end? Watch the video!
