According to a representative of the Chinese company, the first electric car Changan C385 has rolled off the assembly line. The electric car, assembled on the Avatr 11 platform, has already been announced, the liftback will go on official sale in early 2022. The manufacturer is very sparing in providing details about the technical parameters of the car. Experts believe that the new product of the Chinese auto industry is going to compete with Tesla Model 3.

What is known about Changan C385

Those who saw car, first of all, the design struck. This is an elongated angular head optics, giving the "Chinese" a resemblance to the Lamborghini Urus. But the C385 has a lower ground clearance, and it is longer than the "Italian". The designers compensated for the lack of a radiator grille with a pair of air intakes. The "stern" attracts attention with an original through headlight with a pattern. In profile, the electric car resembles its competitor Tesla Model 3.

Technical features

Nothing is known about the characteristics of the engine and batteries yet, but there is an assumption that its power will be at least 300 hp. On a full charge, the car will travel 500-700 km. To assume other parameters, you can turn to its gasoline "brother" - the Uni-V model. This car develops a speed of up to 205 km / h and is equipped with a seven-range robotic transmission. If compared with the Avatr11 crossover, assembled on the same platform, then acceleration to 100 km / h will take no more than 4 seconds.

The electric car has an interesting feature, the presence of which suggests that the car will be delivered to countries with a harsh climate. We are talking about a heating system operating on high-frequency pulses (the Chinese rarely install such an option in their cars). When it is activated, the batteries and the electric drive gain a temperature of 20 ° C in five minutes. And this is with frost overboard at -30 C °! The use of such a system, according to the manufacturer, increases the power reserve. Another option is ARA 7.0 smart parking, thanks to which the car itself looks for a free place to stop and then occupies it. The system works in fully automatic mode.

According to experts, the Chinese electric car loses somewhat to the American competitor Tesla in terms of interior trim and some technical characteristics. However, the lag is compensated by the cost of new items in the Chinese market, which ranges from 2,87 to 3,88 million rubles, depending on the configuration level.
