Plant "Moskvich" patents the name of the new crossover

In the database of Rospatent, information has appeared on obtaining rights to the Moskvich 5 trademark. Most likely, the Russians will see a new crossover towards the end of the year.


According to unconfirmed information, under the new name, the “Chinese” JAC S7 already familiar on our roads will be presented. This car debuted in Russia in 2020 and left the market last year.

Recall the characteristics of the car: this is a large crossover, which was sold in a five- or seven-seater version. In dimensions, it looks much larger than Moskvich 3. Measurements in millimeters:

Previously, this car was sold in the Russian market in three trim levels. The Basic, which only comes in five seats, already includes cruise control, power mirrors, armrests and air conditioning. In Comfort, LEDs are already selected for the entire optics, and not for a part. The air conditioner changes to a full-fledged climate control, an alarm system and Bluetooth support in the media system are added.
