Car steering wheel: "bullying" or "modernization"?
What is a modern car steering wheel? “Baranka”, a round one, on which, in addition to the “bibikalka”, a few more buttons on the knitting needles are placed: for example, to control the volume of multimedia and search for the necessary files. However, this is not at all the case! The inquisitive human mind sometimes makes real technical masterpieces from a standard control body.

“Arts” of this kind have been done before, and they are still doing it now. For example, take a look at the "steering wheel" Moserati Boomerang 1971 release. The car itself is unusual, made in the form of a wedge, full of glass inserts all around, but special attention is riveted to the steering wheel. Although it is difficult to call it such: rather, it is a four-spoke "saucer" with a fixed hub, inside which the devices are located.

And here's the Lancia Medusa. Here we went along a simple path: literally all the buttons that can be in the car were mounted in a pair of steering spokes: from the audio system to the air conditioning system. Whether it's convenient or not, it's hard to say, but it's unreliable - that's for sure. By the way: why should the spokes on the steering wheel be strictly symmetrical or even? The Subaru company swept away the stereotype and offered a car where the “steering wheel” jumpers are made in the form of ... a boomerang. Another question: why does the "steering wheel" have to be round? After all, there are options! And this is not all the "perversions" that the car steering wheel has been subjected to in the world. You can see for yourself by watching the video on the AVTO MOTO TV channel to the end.
