Motorcycles "Minsk" are still remembered by many Russians, and residents of other republics of the former Soviet Union. These models did not differ in external beauty, but they were reliable and economical. What else is needed for the countryside? Not for nothing "Minchiki" were valued. But the legacy of the Soviet plant still exists and is even produced. Although the manufacturer has been declared bankrupt, now there is an LLC for him. Motorcycles are assembled from Chinese kits. From the Soviet legend, only the nameplate remained in them, and even that one is in English for some reason.
The history of the MMVZ plant began in 1945. For the first six years, bicycles were produced there. Motorcycles "came" to Minsk in 1951. From Moscow, by the way, they used to have the same name. It is interesting that the plant management until 2008 produced 125-cc models - the “descendants” of the German DKW 125. Of course, the bikes were repeatedly upgraded, but it never came to four-stroke ones. Such power units appeared at the very beginning of the 125st century - Chinese, unfortunately. And then motorcycles began to be brought from China. The author of the channel "Vlad XNUMXmmvz" will talk about the Soviet "Minchiki", they are also "Macaques". They are the best and still remain in our hearts.
