Tu-334 - a promising model from the 90s, which never went into production

The Soviet passenger car is good in every way aircraft Tu-134, but by the end of the 80s it was already clear that it was hopelessly outdated. They decided to prepare a new model to replace it. It was the Tu-334, an aircraft whose development was akin to a feat. It never went into production - two prototypes were assembled. Work on the Tu-334, started in the USSR, for obvious reasons dragged on for a long time. The first prototype appeared in 2003. Then it got certified.
