Volkswagen T7 Multivan goes on sale in January

From January 2022, it will be possible to order one of the three trim levels of the T7 Multivan. The first deliveries in Europe are scheduled for March. Representatives of the concern presented the characteristics and features of the updated bestseller.


Volkswagen refused to use the Caravel name. As conceived by the developers, the solution reflects a change in the concept, and shows that this is not one of the options for the basic Transporter, but a separate model. For the first time, another platform was used - this is the MQB Volkswagen Group, on which Tiguan and Skoda Kodiak are based.

Initially, you can order three options for complete sets. Each of them can be both short and long base. As for specific characteristics, it is worth highlighting the main differences between the layouts:

Representatives of the company also presented the appearance of a two-liter diesel engine, but the timing of its delivery is still unknown.

The updated version has more space and opportunities for transforming the location of passenger seats and a table. The dimensions have also increased: with a length of 4973 mm, the width was 1941 mm, and the height was 1903. The extended version is 20 cm larger.
