It seems that the Czech motorcycles Jawa disappeared in the crucible of the wild 90s. They are still found in the outskirts, and sometimes in large cities. As for the famous brand from the Czech Republic, it turned out that it managed to survive the wild times. Yes, Jawa motorcycles are still being produced. They have not turned into outright "Chinese stuff", as happened at the Minsk "Motovelo" and the Kovrov ZiD. It is difficult to say how the Czechs managed it, but they still produce two-stroke Jawas similar to the last, popular in the USSR model 638. There are several modern touches, such as a front disc brake and an electric starter, but the bike looks "Soviet".

A 2019 model with an engine in need of a major overhaul came to his workshop. We rode the bike for 2 kilometers. But do not be indignant, they say, “Java” is not the same, here it was before ...
