The designers didn't bother: EV5 looks pretty much the same as EV9. Similar glazing and a plug in place of the radiator grille are complemented by the same invisible door handles with a retractable mechanism. The only changes are in the optics. If the headlights differ at their fingertips, then the taillights are strikingly different. Well, at least somewhere the designers "came off".
