Niva vs UAZ - which car is cooler on the road?
There are, in fact, only two domestic SUVs - the VAZ-2121 and the UAZ-469 with later modifications, including the Hunter.
What car will perform better off-road? This is a subject of constant debate on thematic forums and even on trips. Some people are "rooting" for UAZ, claiming that it is a real frame SUV, especially a military one. It was created for off-road, to drive behind tracked vehicles.
