Electric scooters under the guns of cameras – speed violators will be fined

The Moscow traffic police began testing the new system. Its task is to track violators moving along public roads on electric scooters. The lack of license plates on personal mobility aids will not be a problem.


Let us remind you that from March 1, electric scooters in Russia cannot travel at a speed of more than 25 km/h. In pedestrian zones generally from 5 to 15 km/h.

It is difficult to control this, the owners of electric scooters laughed at attempts to reason with them. But the matter has shifted - violators will be tracked by video cameras.


So far, only those who like to drive on the roads should be afraid. They will be fixed in the traffic stream if the speed of movement exceeds 25 km/h. Then, with the help of a neural network, the face of the offender will be “punched” through the bases.

It is noteworthy that those who are not found immediately will be charged with an administrative case. The investigation will take up to two months. Witnesses will even be called in the process.

Users of rental scooters do not have to worry - they will not be able to exceed even if they wish. The equipment is already set for speeds up to 25 km/h.

But the owners of American scooters that develop up to 100 km / h will have to come up with something. Judging by the messages on the forums, they plan to ride in closed helmets. But the traffic police is also on the alert ...
