It became known where and when "Atom" will be shown

The general director of Kamaz, who also heads the Kama production enterprise, shared with reporters TASS information about the possible timing of the demonstration of a new domestic development. We are talking about the Atom electric car, which has been under development since 2021.


It is expected that the prototype can be seen in May this year. The presentation is planned to be held in Kazan, as part of the Kazan Summit event. This instance will be used for further testing and evaluation of the auto interface.


Earlier it was reported that a new Russian electric car will go on sale in 2024-2025. It is expected that the compact electric car will be equipped with a motor with a capacity of 70 to 130 kW, and a battery with a capacity of 70 kWh, which can provide autonomy for 400-500 km. The declared dimensions correspond to the parameters 3750\1760\1615 mm.

It is noteworthy that if this forecast comes true, this may mean a slight lead. Earlier announcements sounded different dates, namely the third quarter of 2023.
