The old Soviet "Zaporozhets" on the roads proved to be better than the Land Rover

What do you remember about this popular Soviet the car, like Zaporozhets, aka ZAZ-968? A cramped small car, did they even have to issue tank helmets for it? A gasoline heater that periodically broke down and increased fuel consumption?

Few people remember that the Zaporozhets was the most passable Soviet passenger car for the civilian market. Apart from, of course, the VAZ-2121 Niva. As for the UAZs, they were not freely sold in the USSR, so they should not be taken into account either.

In general, the author of the AUTOTUT channel specifically decided to shoot a video off-road with Zaporozhets in the title role. As it turned out, an old Soviet car with a low-power engine, and the car with almost no modifications, could easily “break” a Land Rover!

Of course, Land Rover was far from the most off-road, rather, a typical crossover, but Zaporozhets never claimed the laurels of the great "rogue"!

Well, how could this even happen, you will find out by watching the video!
Do you believe in the off-road potential of Zaporozhets?
