Izh-49 - the most beautiful motorcycle in the history of the manufacturer
It is believed that the history of Izh motorcycles began after 1945. Say, the Soviet Union took the equipment out of Germany on the right of the winner on account of reparations. In fact, everything is not so. The first motorcycles appeared in Izhevsk in 1929 - 5 models, from light to the heaviest, not inferior to Harleys. They were created in a single copy each. Unfortunately, Stalin in 1929 sensibly reasoned that the country did not need a variety of motor vehicles, and the models were too expensive. The simplest and lightest sample was chosen, and even that did not go into the series. Only since 1933 in Izhevsk began to produce small-scale models Izh-7/8/9/12. But they did not become widespread either. First, the conveyors needed to be adjusted, and then the war got in the way.

The third stage in the development of Izh motorcycles started in 1946. First, the factory produced a model with an index of 350 - a complete copy of the German DKW NZ-350. But in 1951, the Izh-49 motorcycle appeared. It was not only improved technically, but also externally. The model is still considered the most beautiful in the post-war line of the manufacturer. And the author of the KrasMoto channel will tell about the bike in more detail. Unfortunately, Izh motorcycles are no longer produced, although there is a ghostly chance for the revival of the brand.
