Representatives of the Russian company "A priori solutions of machines" shared the great news that its engineers managed to assemble the first domestic electric motor of traction power. The work was carried out with an emphasis on a practically 100% localized product, and, according to the developers, this worked out.


The first prototype has already passed the necessary tests, and in the future it is planned to install it on a tractor designed earlier at the same enterprise, but which until a certain point was equipped with an imported power plant. Six more samples are also being prepared, which are necessary for further testing as part of the equipment. After that, mass production, scheduled for 2024, will be launched.


As expected, the lineup will include models with power from 3,9 to 15 kW. The unit will be in demand not only in agriculture, but also in other industries. It can be installed on special equipment for various purposes, including loaders, utility vehicles, etc.

The prospect of using electric special vehicles is obvious. This includes a reduced level of noise and pollution, and a reduction in operating costs, an increased resource of the main components, etc. At the same time, the head of the machine-building cluster of Chuvashia highly appreciated the prospects for the development of this area in our country.

Even realizing a certain advantage of foreign countries in the development of light automotive industry, in the field of heavy engineering, according to some experts, we can compete with many foreign manufacturers. Indeed, without exaggeration, Russian engineers managed to achieve serious success in this in the shortest possible time.

The new development was created on the basis of one of the most reliable and unpretentious types of valve-inductor type traction devices. The absence of permanent magnets in the design of such an engine significantly reduces the cost of its production. Also, the unit demonstrates absolute unpretentiousness in terms of maintenance and is highly maintainable.

A tractor equipped with this power plant can perform all the functions familiar to such equipment. Various operating modes are available, including high traction. Only the battery life depends on the intensity of the load.


According to preliminary calculations, such a gap should be at least five hours in the conditions of operation of attachments. But this figure is not final, you can always install an additional battery. The carrying capacity of such equipment is limited to 1,5 tons, the speed is 30 km / h.

Among the first customers of new engines is the Cheboksary Plant of Power Units. It is planned that for the assembly of tractors and other equipment, the enterprise will initially need up to 60 ready-made kits. And taking into account the subsequent expansion of production, this figure may be 300-1000 units per year. It's up to the small, to solve the issue with the availability of charging stations and level out the small disadvantages associated with the introduction of new technological solutions at the enterprise.
