Altai-130: another replacement for the T-4 or the search for a new one?

Altai-130: another replacement for the T-4 or the search for a new one?
Once upon a time, the Soviet Union helped China create its own industry, including building tractors. But the situation in the world is changing, and today China is completely different: it will be able to help those who need it. And it is worth saying that there is something: the production of agricultural machinery in the Middle Kingdom in recent years has risen to a higher level. But what does the plant in Altai have to do with it?

In 2015, on the ruins of the bankrupt ATZ, in the city of Rubtsovsk, a new enterprise arose - the Tracked Vehicle Plant, which began to assemble tractors of the fourth traction class.

Today, the organization produces agricultural machinery, skidding and industrial equipment under the TSH brand.

By and large, the plant is engaged in a deep modernization of the legendary predecessors, such as the T-4. As a result, in 2015, the Altai-130 tractor was presented to the public. The machine can be used both in agriculture and in construction, industry: a large number of attached implements allows you to do this. What is interesting about a tractor?

Technical details

The general design is frame. The undercarriage consists of balancers, springs, a bogie with 4 rollers, plus a hydraulic track tensioner. According to the reviews of those who had a chance to ride the Altai-140, the suspension strongly resembles the one on the good old DT-75. Hinge - lever-articulated, can work on a two- or three-point scheme. The CBT-E532FAHLA pump “manages” the hydraulics, which creates a pressure in the system of 16,5 MPa.

Power unit

The origin of the Weichai Power WP6G140E22 six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine is German (once from Deutz), but it is assembled under license in China.

The engine is still German-Chinese. Photo: YouTube.com

Engine Specifications:

✅ power - 140 "horses" (103 kW)
✅ torque - up to 640 N * m
✅ volume - 16,75 l
✅fuel consumption - an average of 245 g / kWh

The capacity of the fuel tanks is 250 liters. The tractor develops speed up to 13,6 km/h.

Трансмиссия

The manual transmission provides eight gears forward and four reverse. In the first case, the range is from 3,9 to 13,6 km / h, in the second - from 3,79 to 5,66 km / h. Double disc clutch, dry. There is a single speed PTO at 540 rpm. Turns are carried out by means of friction clutches with cermet discs. Brakes - drum-tape.

"Altai-13" can be equipped with bulldozer equipment and carry out excavation work on the movement of soil of 1-2 categories, sand and other building materials. Blade dimensions: 2,462, 0,945 (length, width).

Cabin

Compared to the T-4, there is, of course, super comfort here. Suffice it to say that instead of trivial levers, an automobile "steering wheel" is used. The seat (armchair?) of the operator is equipped with a comfortable backrest and armrests. The microclimate inside is supported by an autonomous heater, in summer - air conditioning.

An audio system is provided (where would it be without it!). Plus, monitoring: an image from three cameras is transmitted to the display online - "dead" zones are excluded.

Exploitation

The number of tractors produced is unknown: according to available information, they are produced individually, or in small batches, as orders are received. Although initially the plant stated that they would produce from 500 units of equipment per year. The cost of the car on the official website - only on request. But on the Internet there is an estimated price of 3,5 million rubles. Reviews about "Altai-130" are also ambiguous. Some say that the old “iron” (as the T-4 was called) was fitted with a new cabin and a Chinese engine. At the same time, the chassis remained the same. It is possible that this is so. However, the T-4 was famous for its reliability and unpretentiousness in maintenance. What's wrong? And yes, doing something is better than doing nothing. In addition, the company is relatively new and everything is ahead of him.
