A dump truck from a rocket carrier - easily!
The MAZ-543 multi-wheeled chassis or rocket carrier was produced in considerable quantities in Soviet times. In the end, there were so many of them that someone came up with the idea of using military vehicles for peaceful civilian purposes. That's just, instead of missiles, can be adapted to the chassis? There are many options.

It is worth recalling: the MAZ-504 has four axles and two cabins. The first feature helped when timber and pipe carriers began to be made from a combat vehicle. The high cross-country ability provided by eight wheels (clearance 40 cm) helped to deliver cargo to hard-to-reach places. Such use of the chassis is logical and fit. They also made fire engines and even flatbed trucks! The latter option can hardly be called successful, especially when you consider fuel consumption.

Well, since they made an onboard car from the MAZ-504, why not try to build a dump truck? No sooner said than done! In 1969, the civilian MAZ-7510 saw the light in Minsk. The body volume of such a car was very decent: 11,5 cubic meters, engine power 525 hp. With. Well, since this car carries rockets, it can also carry heavy loads. However, reality overturned all assumptions. How much could a rocket carrier carry and why did they start laughing at it? The author will tell about this on the channel "Mountain of Autofacts": watch the video!
