Why do car relays and how they can be used

He likes to dig around in the car, you've probably seen these "things" - relays that control the functioning of electrical devices in a car. For example, headlights, a fan, an engine cooling radiator, a rear window heater, a horn and other systems. The devices connected to the relay have one common "theme": a relatively large current consumption.

And why connect these products through a relay? Is it not possible directly? Can. However, there is one "but". You will need wires of the appropriate thickness so that the insulation does not melt. Plus, serious switches with a large contact area, so as not to burn. Can you imagine what will happen in the salon then? Dimensional buttons and thick bundles of wires ...
