KamAZ aims to increase production

The press center of the Kama Automobile Plant announced that the automaker intends to significantly increase the production of trucks this year. So, instead of 2023 units of finished equipment planned for 44, which corresponds to the indicators of the previous year, 000 copies will be produced.


An important role in this "success" of KamAZ was played by cooperation with MMK, which confidently occupies a leading position among suppliers of metal products for automakers. Despite the difficult economic situation, the plant manages to maintain the pace of production. Over 100 tons of rolled metal were delivered to KamAZ alone last year.


It is known that earlier the Kama Automobile Plant often purchased foreign steel. Now, in the context of widespread import substitution, he is successfully replacing imported raw materials with Magnitogorsk steel. The company develops new brands, including those that surpass existing analogues in some respects.

Within the framework of the coordinating council, which took place the other day between representatives of KamAZ and MMK, they summed up the results of the past year and outlined plans for the future.
