In Russia, they made their own Hummer from an ordinary Gazelle!
American military car Many drivers know Hummer. And it's not scary that the H2 and H3 models are mostly driving on the roads, which have nothing in common with the combat vehicle! They were created on the chassis of ordinary SUVs!
What matters is how they look! And if so, then it is possible for enthusiasts in Russia to create their own Hammer, which is done periodically. Basically, craftsmen create such cars from the GAZ-66 - this helps to cut costs as much as possible.
But this is garage creativity for the soul. But in the video on the channel "PrivetTachka" the author showed a car called "Arrow". This is not some kind of home-made garage, but a new car created on GAZ Gazelle units.
Outwardly, the SUV turned out to be brutal and stylish, but with cross-country ability, not everything is so smooth. Rear-wheel drive - thanks to the essence of the Gazelle !. However, this is an experimental running copy, created to demonstrate production capacity, so to speak.
In the future, it is planned to introduce all-wheel drive from the new GAZ Sobol. Thanks to the use of domestic cars as a chassis, it will be possible to minimize the cost of the Strela SUV for the end user.
Under the hood there is a standard diesel engine from GAZelle NEXT - 2,8 liters Cummins. The motor is also rather weak for such a "colossus", but do not forget that this is a prototype!
In general, the car turned out to be excellent, and they will have time to finalize it if the customers catch up. Watch and be surprised! Happy viewing!
