Acceptance of orders for UAZ Patriot has started in the USA - $ 3.8 million received per day
The first serious talk about Russian cars entering the US market was at the end of 2020. At that time, the Bremach company announced that it intended to officially sell cars UAZ Patriot and Pickup, only under different names. After discussing the news, not all motorists and experts believed that the plans were destined to come true. However, at the Los Angeles Auto Show last week, Bremach Inc. moved to the next stage of implementing its goal - the premiere of the legendary UAZ Patriot SUV took place. However, the Californian company, which became a dealer of the Ulyanovsk plant, abandoned its previous intention to sell the car to Americans under the new name Taos - the fact is that Volkswagen has been producing a product under this name since 2020.
The auto show in Los Angeles this time turned out to be doubly bright and memorable, just because it finally took place. The event has been postponed several times due to the pandemic, so it is very long-awaited. The premiere of the UAZ Patriot was also a surprise for the guests, because many doubted the reality of the entry of Russian cars into the US market. However, even today there are skeptics who do not believe that Bremach will bring the idea to the end.
The company also announced what modifications it plans to offer to the Americans:

? Extreme off-road version

The second option will receive characteristic wheels, hinting that the car is capable of overcoming any obstacles on the way. Brutality and aggression will add an expressive body kit. Power and purposefulness are emphasized by steel power bumpers and milled towing eyes that are brought out.
The company intends to produce SUVs with rear and all-wheel drive. About the capabilities of the machine, conclusions can be drawn from the technical characteristics:
✅ UAZ Patriot will be equipped with a 2.7-liter 150-horsepower ZMZ Pro gasoline engine
✅ It is planned to install a 6-speed automatic transmission Punch Powerglide 6L50 on an SUV for the American market

The preliminary price for the Bremach 4x4 SUV Line has already been announced - this is how the Patriot will be called in the States. In the basic configuration, an SUV will cost almost 26.5 thousand dollars. If you translate the amount into Russian rubles, the cost is in the range of 2 million.
Within a day of the announcement of the start of orders for Patriot Bremach has collected 3.8 million in US dollars. The figure is impressive, although it is too early to talk about the assessment of the activity of buyers - it is not known how many customers have trusted the company. It is difficult to make assumptions, because there is only information about the minimum contribution for the car - it is $100.
