Subaru Forester: published prices for the updated model in Russia

Subaru introduced the updated Forester model back in the summer. But when car will officially arrive in Russia, there was no information. Now fans of the brand can breathe a sigh of relief - the new "Forester" is already available for pre-order.


Car prices have been announced, but the Subaru Forester has not arrived in Russia yet. Dealers promise that the first customers will receive their cars in December this year.

Although the all-terrain wagon remains in the same fifth generation that debuted in 2018, the update brought a number of innovations. The front part received new optics - now LED headlights are even in the cheapest version. The bumper and grille have also changed - they correspond to the spirit of the times.

In addition to the above, alloy wheels with a new design appeared, plus several new body colors.



The changes affected mainly the front of the car, while the back remains the same as the 2018 model.

The salon is also not happy with some conspicuous updates, but the multimedia system has been seriously improved, new options have appeared.
There are also changes in EyeSight - an additional camera, the main device received an increased viewing angle. Security features have also been updated.

As for the technical characteristics, they were almost not touched. You can only pay attention to the suspension, which has been redesigned with a bias towards comfort. This means that the off-road qualities of the Subaru Forester have become a little worse. But it is unlikely that the main buyers of the car will pay attention to this.

The engines remained the same - 2,0 per 150 hp. With. and 2,5 for 185 liters. With. Gasoline engines, simple aspirated. The turbocharged version will not be officially delivered to Russia. The drive is only full everywhere - it's Subaru!

As for the configurations, this time the manufacturer decided not to indulge the Russian client with the simplest options. There are no Standard and Elegance anymore, which means that the cheapest Subaru Forester has to pay 440 rubles more than before.

Well, about the current prices. For a simple version of Comfort, you will have to pay from 2 rubles. The most expensive Subaru Forester is the Premium ES package, and they ask for it from 909 rubles.

A bit pricey, don't you think? But Russian dealers have prepared a bonus for buyers - an extended warranty. Now it has been increased from three to five years, or from 100 to 150 thousand kilometers, whichever comes first.



Whether the updated Subaru Forester will be in demand in Russia - time will tell. But judging by the minimum price of 2 rubles, it is hardly worth waiting for a flow of orders. Many will prefer to wait a couple more years before the release of a deep restyling.
