Mysterious Alpha Motors presented another novelty - Saga sedan

The name Alpha Motor Corporation has been familiar to the public since the end of 2020. Since that time, the Californian startup has repeatedly announced new models. Just recently, at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the public was again intrigued by showing a brand new electric sedan - a model called Saga.

However, so far there is not a single one car the mysterious company did not release. However, the start of production is planned for the end of 2023. Which does not cancel out many questions for Alpha Motor: who is on the team, where is the enterprise located?

Introduction to Saga

True to its own traditions, the company chose a pronounced retro style for the sedan. Some technical parameters are preliminary named:

✅ Body length 4700 mm with a width of 1910 mm and a height of 1440 mm
✅ Acceleration to 60 miles in 6 seconds
✅ Five passenger seats
✅ Two luggage compartments with a total volume of 566 liters

Alpha Motor promises to equip the car with a choice of one engine and rear-wheel drive, or two power units if the buyer prefers the all-wheel drive version.

The car will be charged by fast charging. The battery capacity will allow the Saga to travel nearly 500 kilometers, the company says.

Exterior and interior

The design of the new car refers to the 60-70s of the last century. If it is closer in size to the third-generation BMW, then in terms of features, many guess the look of the Dodge Challenger. Also, the exterior echoes Japanese sports cars of the second half of the XNUMXth century. The following details give it expressiveness:

Inside the car is even more interesting than outside.

In the cabin, the instrument panel, which is stylized as analog, attracts attention. The radio receiver gives a special charm. Although it is digital, it is also made in the spirit of retro, so it has a scale with numbers to indicate frequencies, beloved by many, familiar from the pre-digital era.

The designers decided to maintain the overall style to the smallest detail. Therefore, the climate system is designed in the appropriate spirit, and the control unit is implemented in the form of traditional switches.

The seats also bring up memories of the bygone 60s and 70s. And only the touch screen says that the Saga sedan is a product of a new era.
