"Niva" can be no worse than "Gelendvagen"!
VAZ-2121 Niva, also known as Lada 4x4, is a legendary Soviet and Russian SUV. If you look into it, car is in fact a crossover. It has no frame, and the operating instructions say "all-terrain vehicle".
But the ability to conquer mud tracks in the VAZ-2121, even in the basic configuration, is better than that of some frame SUVs. There was a time when the Soviet "Niva" defeated the Mercedes Gelendvagen!
Decades passed, "Gelik" developed, and Lada 4x4 in fact remained the same simple car.
True fans of "riding" in the mud know that an SUV does not need all these electronic bells and whistles and comfort options in the cabin. The more complex the car, the more likely it is to break down. That is why the simple "Niva" is so popular in narrow circles.
But some people are not satisfied with this situation, and sometimes such "Niva" are born, as in the video on the "PrivetTachka" channel.
