2023 Subaru Solterra - pre-production model debuted in Japan

Subaru has unveiled the highly anticipated 2023 Solterra electric crossover. The manufacturer has moved from words and teasers to deeds - the model is ready for production.


One glance at the new Subaru Solterra is enough to understand that this is a single-platform Toyota bZ4X. Indeed, two well-known companies have been cooperating with each other for a long time. So the appearance of a similar electric crossover is more a pattern than an accident.

On closer inspection and comparison of the two cars it becomes clear that they are different. The wings immediately catch the eye - they are the same as the platform car, and contrast sharply with the body.

But the headlights are different - in Subaru Solterra they are larger and have recognizable brand features. The radiator grille of the new electric car is also its own - hexagonal with a black outline and fill in the body color. Fog lights in the front bumper Subaru Solterra - this is also an innovation.
