Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 to debut in honor of AMG anniversary
The Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55 will debut in Europe in honor of the 55th anniversary of the AMG brand. It is already available for order from now. It will be available for purchase until October 2022.
The G63 Edition 55 is available in the beautifully named Obsidian Black Metallic and G Manufaktur Opalite White. At the bottom of the doors car a stylized AMG emblem appeared. Similar markings are also on the chrome fuel tank cap. Fans of black design will be able to satisfy their design ambitions by choosing one of two packages called AMG Night Package and Night Package II. They both add dark accents to the interior and exterior. Not the least role in shaping the style is played by 22-inch wheels with a tantalum-gray coating and cross-arranged spokes.

The interior of the exclusive Edition 55 car is made in a combination of black and red colors. The seats are upholstered in two-tone Nappa leather, also dyed in both of these shades. The steering wheel is covered in Mercedes Dinamica microfiber, and a stylish 55 AMG badge is located on the central spoke. The AMG floor mats are made of black velor with red contrast stitching. The stainless steel door sills are illuminated with LEDs.
Of course, the package of visual changes in no way affects the transmission and functionality of the car. The Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 55, like the original, has a 4,0-liter twin-turbo engine on board. It develops a power of 577 hp. With. and produces up to 850 N * m of torque. To transfer this power to the drive wheels, a 9-speed automatic transmission is used.

Buyers of the Edition 55, in addition to the car itself, also receive a branded storage case for the car with the AMG logo. For all this in the same Germany, you will have to pay another 17 euros to the cost of the original Mercedes-AMG G850. It is also interesting that the company directly says that new updates will be added in the coming months in honor of the anniversary.
