Maserati Grecale 2023 debuts with V6 Trofeo engine

The Italian company Maserati has announced several interesting models in a short period of time, among which the MC20 is the most breathtaking. However, there is reason to believe that the new Grecale crossover will become a favorite. In the model range, it will be located below the Levante and immediately after the release it will be able to seriously compete with the still more popular Porsche Macan.

Named after the north-east Mediterranean wind, the Grecale crossover is about 25% more compact than the Levante. The model will be available in three different trim levels: GT, Modena and Trofeo. In terms of exterior design, the last specification looks especially interesting, as it is the only one with car has extended front air intakes.

The 8-speed gearbox for the GT and Modena versions is somewhat different than for the Trofeo.

The entry-level GT uses a 2,0-liter turbocharged engine with mild hybrid technology. It develops a solid 296 hp and its torque is 450 N*m. This is enough to accelerate the car to 100 km / h in 5,6 seconds. Modena, in turn, gets a more powerful 325 hp engine. With. at the same moment, and up to 100 km / h, it accelerates 0,3 seconds faster than in the GT configuration.

There are four screens in the car at once - Maserati is clearly trying to break the record in this regard. In addition to the digital instrument cluster, there are two displays for the infotainment system, with a fourth monitor acting as a clock.
Europe will be the first region to receive the crossover in the first half of the year, followed by the US, Canada and some Latin American countries this fall.
Do you think 4 screens are too many or too few?
