Renault has decided to resume the assembly of cars at a plant in Moscow
Renault has officially announced that it will resume production cars at the Moscow Automobile Plant. Despite economic sanctions against Russia, the manufacturer will find new suppliers of parts and necessary electronic components. Cooperation in our market will continue.
Western sanctions are trying to quickly weaken the Russian economy, although this sounds much worse than it really is. This also affected the automotive industry, but official representatives were very reluctant to leave our market. Of course, who wants to lose the opportunity to earn!
But under pressure from Western politicians, car manufacturers still had to leave the Russian market. They would not be allowed to work, disrupting the supply chains of parts and electronic components.

Drivers were more interested in what would happen to Renault, the owner of AvtoVAZ and the manufacturer of the most popular cars in the country, which has long been loved by a combination of relatively low price and reliability.
Panic in the camp of fans of French cars began after the announcement of a special operation in Ukraine - then the Renault plant in Moscow was stopped. Production is idle due to the inability to obtain the necessary parts from abroad. Recall that the French government is one of the most ardent supporters of a complete economic blockade of Russia, and Renault's main office is located there.
Renault cars have been produced in our country since 2005. Therefore, it was not easy for the company to make the decision to leave the market, even under strong pressure from the French government. As a result, after analyzing all possible losses, Renault representatives said that they would establish new supply chains and return to full-scale car production.

At first glance, it seems impossible to abandon old suppliers and find new ones, but in fact, there are many intermediaries in the world who want to make money on resale. It is enough to turn to any serious company, for example, from the Asian region, and it will be happy to purchase all the parts, assemblies and electronics necessary for the smooth operation of a car factory in Moscow.
Many Russian drivers were sure that Chinese car manufacturers would flood the domestic market in the near future. European familiar foreign cars will have to be abandoned. But the example of Renault shows that any Western sanctions can be circumvented if desired.
