The next generation of the crossover will replace the JAC X5 in Russia

Earlier, the Chinese company JAC Motors announced sales in Russia of a new car model with the S6 index. Now it is clear that it was about the JAC Sehol X6 crossover, which expanded the sub-brand series. It is likely that the novelty will soon appear on the Russian market and will replace the predecessor S5, which has already disappeared from sales in the Russian Federation.




The new SUV is quite different from the previous model: the car has a trapezoidal radiator grille, a fashionable “two-story” head optics with a lower location of the main headlights and an upper one with enlarged running lights. Door handles are traditional, but in the side mirrors you can see video cameras that provide all-round visibility. The wheels are 18 inches, the rear light at the “stern” is made in the form of a single block, stretching the entire width of the tailgate. The rear bumper at the bottom is “decorated” with an imitation of a pair of mufflers. Collectively, this is called the "new corporate identity" of JAC. Some technical data of JAC Sehol X6:

The interior appears bright: the predominant black and white color contrasts with the orange decorative elements. The feeling of spaciousness is emphasized by the large glass area. The driver's seat has received settings in automatic mode. The instrument panel is made in the “figure”, to the right of the steering wheel there is a large multimedia display, under which, at the gearshift lever, there are a pair of cup holders, a start-stop button and an emergency gang. Finishes the "exposure" panoramic roof.





It can be said that the development of relations with Russia is on the rise. Now KAMAZ is studying the possibility of organizing the production of inexpensive electric vehicles. The Russian Federation is already well acquainted with the company's products. These are JAC J7, S7 (in China they are called Sehol A5 and X7 respectively). It is quite possible that the new model will be imported to Russia from Kazakhstan, where the Chinese company has its own plant.



As for the cost of the new model, it has not yet been officially announced. However, experts say that the price, if translated into Russian money, will be in the range from 2,2 to 2,6 million rubles.
