SUV Haval Dargo passed certification in Russia

Great Wall Motors, which owns the Haval brand, has reported to fans of the brand about the completion of certification of the Dargo SUV in Russia. The words are confirmed by a number of documents issued for the model.


It turns out that the brutal Haval Dargo will appear in Russia soon. But the specific dates for the start of production car and the start of pre-orders has not yet been announced.

According to the documents, the production of the SUV is planned to begin at the Russian Haval plant, which is located near Tula. In connection with the sanctions, many European and American manufacturers have left the country, leaving vacancies, and the Chinese will try to fill them.



Haval Dargo in Russia will be produced in two main versions - with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Oddly enough, the body width of the 4x4 model is 20 mm larger. For other parameters, the cars do not differ from each other. Recall that the body length of the Haval Dargo is 4 mm. with a wheelbase of 620 mm.

In Russia, the SUV will be produced with only one engine option - a two-liter turbocharged unit with a capacity of 192 hp. With. Interestingly, the motor was deformed specifically for Russia - in China, an SUV is sold with an engine that develops 245 hp. With.

The gearbox for our market is also different - instead of a nine-speed "automatic", Haval Dargo will receive a seven-speed "robot". So-so news - Russian drivers traditionally dislike such checkpoints. Robotic boxes on cars of different brands have proven to be expensive to repair.

Haval Dargo is equipped with independent suspensions and disc brakes on all wheels. Inside, the SUV pleases with a digital instrument panel, luxurious trim and a large number of options that can be ordered for an additional fee.
