Deliveries of Russian TV7-117ST-01 engines for Il-114-300 to begin this year
Project of deep modernization of regional turboprop Aircraft The Il-114-300 is entering its final stage. The first deliveries of serial Russian TV2025-7ST-117 engines, specially developed for this platform, are expected in 01.
The information was confirmed by the General Director of the United Engine Corporation, Alexander Grachev, who emphasized that the certification process for the aircraft with the new power unit will be completed in parallel with the deliveries.
In 2024, over 100 test flights were conducted with TV7-117ST-01 engines, which confirmed the calculated characteristics and reliability of the system in various operating modes.

The type certificate for the aircraft with the new power plant should be obtained by the end of this year, which will allow limited serial deliveries of units to begin. It is planned to ship 6-7 engines as part of a pilot batch for the first flight samples and static tests.
The TV7-117ST-01 engine is a deeply modernized version of the proven turboprop power unit developed by PJSC UEC-Klimov.
The unit is designed for a power of up to 3100 hp with the possibility of a short-term increase to 3600 hp in take-off mode.
One of the key differences of the new version was the introduction of a digital automatic control system of the FADEC type. This significantly increased the accuracy of adjustment, reduced fuel consumption and increased the service interval.
The use of the TV7-117ST-01 engine makes the Il-114-300 completely independent of imported components in terms of the power plant, which is especially important in the context of current sanctions and the general course towards import substitution in the Russian aviation industry.
According to the approved comprehensive program for the development of the aviation industry until 2030, it is planned to deliver 51 Il-114-300 units to civil aviation.

It will become an important part of the regional air transportation fleet and will replace the outdated An-24 and An-26. The aircraft is designed to carry up to 64 passengers over a range of up to 1500 km, while being able to take off from poorly prepared airfields, including shortened runways.
The Il-114-300 project in conjunction with the TV7-117ST-01 engines is only part of a large-scale modernization of the entire line of civil aircraft. Thus, in parallel, UEC is certifying another key engine - the PD-8, intended for the import-substituting SSJ New airliner.
The introduction of a new generation of fully domestically produced power plants creates a solid technology platform capable of supporting plans to produce almost 1000 civil aircraft by 2030.
