MotoVeloZavod has started producing patrol motorcycles for the State Traffic Inspectorate
Minsk MotoVeloZavod has released a special version of its "flagship", the Minsk СХ 650 model. This is a special bike equipped with all the necessary equipment for patrol duty. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus plans to purchase a batch of such motorcycle.
The new version of the bike was presented by the director of MotoVeloZavod. At a meeting with traffic police officers, the prototype was handed over to one of the traffic police inspectors. The law enforcement officer received the keys from the hands of the Minister of Internal Affairs.
Unlike the regular Minsk СХ 650, the patrol modification has a number of improvements. Moreover, their number and specifics were adjusted by the traffic police management.

Minsk СХ 650 for the State Automobile Inspectorate has become more suitable for off-road conditions. In the standard version, it is a typical motard. That is, a station wagon, like a crossover for the city, but capable of driving on bad roads.
The patrol modification received protection for the power unit and radiator. The motorcycle also "acquired" safety arcs. It was equipped with a fastening system for installing trunks and special equipment.
The head of MotoVeloZavod said that the new Minsk is an import-substituting product. And the motorcycle itself is not inferior to foreign analogues. Although, if you look into it, the CX 650 is brought to Belarus from China in disassembled form.
Traffic police officers need a fleet of modern motorized two-wheeled vehicles. The fact is that every year more and more bikers appear on the roads. They are not always disciplined. Modern equipment is required for effective prevention of offenses. And traffic police officers are required to have professional training and equipment.

The Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs noted that motorcyclists should not see the traffic police officer as an enemy. On the contrary, he is a professional, ready to help in any situation, including a critical one. But traffic police inspectors will punish severely for violating traffic rules. This is necessary to minimize traffic accidents.
As for the Minsk СХ 650, this model received a 644 cm3 engine. The power unit has an air-oil cooling system. Yes. it is not very modern, but reliable. Engine power is 40 hp.
The cost of the patrol Minsk is not reported. But the standard model is offered in Belarus for 15 local rubles (000 thousand Russian). Judging by the modifications and special equipment installed, the new version of the bike will be significantly more expensive.
