Russian drivers are once again expecting large-scale changes to the traffic regulations, which have caused heated debate in the State Duma. Deputies spoke out against increasing fines and reducing the discount on their payment from 50% to 25%. In their opinion, the new fines, which came into force on January 1, are too harsh and financially burdensome for citizens.
