A new domestic tractor has appeared in Russia – it will go into production

Russian farmers will soon receive a new affordable tractor - model "Yaroslavets" Ya-250CX. This is an analogue of the Soviet legend - T-150. The equipment is presented by the production association "Yaroslavsky Traktor". The model is already being prepared for serial production. Production will start soon.


The advantages of the new tractor are reliability and low cost. The latter was achieved due to the simplicity of the design. But still, the new "Yaroslavets" is able to provide the driver with a high level of comfort.

The new tractor's gross weight is 8,46 tons. The Ya-250CX is primarily intended for agriculture, as the last two letters in the index clearly indicate. This is a universal machine capable of replacing a number of specific equipment.


The tractor can be used for soil preparation, including plowing, sowing, and harvesting. If necessary, the Yaroslavets can also act as a tractor for transporting cargo. Moreover, the technical features of the tractor allow it to pull two trailers at once.

The Ya-250CX will be equipped with six-cylinder power units from the Yaroslavl Motor Plant. These are YaMZ-536 series engines, considered the most modern in the company's lineup. They will be offered in three versions - 180, 240 and 250 hp. It all depends on the customer's needs. Less powerful engines have more torque.

All Yaroslavets will be produced only in all-wheel drive version. A new, improved gearbox works together with the engine. It has hydraulic range switching. Due to this, power is not lost during the transition from one stage to another. Beginner machine operators will definitely appreciate the latter feature.


Thanks to the use of special tires, the new "Yaroslavets" is capable of working in the harshest conditions. And regardless of the season and weather. The tractor speed is up to 40 km/h.

The Ya-250CX has a two-seater cabin. The operator has a full-size seat with a number of adjustments. The passenger, who, in theory, has nothing to do in the cabin of agricultural machinery, has a folding seat. The panoramic glazing provides excellent visibility in all directions.

Serial production of the new tractor will begin this summer. They promise to immediately release a batch of 30 Ya-250CX.
