In Russia, the production of aluminum bodies has been completely localized
The second stage of the Grunwald plant has been successfully launched in the Kaliningrad region. The production site will be engaged in the production of aluminum bodies intended for semi-trailers.
The new complex is located in Khrabrovo and was created by the efforts of the Grunwald machine-building enterprise. As part of the project, two modern factories were built on a territory of 250 thousand square meters. The area of production facilities was 8 thousand square meters.
For the first time in the history of Grunwald, the process of manufacturing aluminum bodies has been localized. The workshops are equipped with modern equipment and are ready to start work.

Some of the production operations are automated using robotic machines, including welding of body bases. This approach has increased the efficiency of the enterprise and the quality of the products.
Half a billion rubles in investments were allocated for the project implementation. Of these, a fifth is intended exclusively for the purposes of robotization and automation of production. Advanced equipment also helped to establish the production of bases and sides for steel dump truck bodies, thereby expanding the company's product range.
The company's CEO was present at the official opening of the workshops and commented on the event:

The production of container trucks and semi-trailers for various types of road transport is concentrated there. During its existence, Grunwald has produced 20 thousand units of equipment and continues to expand its scope of activity.
The Khrabrovo industrial zone, where the new plant was built, is a promising industrial site in the Kaliningrad region. The complex was created with the support of the national program "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship".
The park unites thirty investment projects. Since 2021, 10 plants have been commissioned on the territory, and 9 enterprises of various types are under construction.

The modernization of the enterprise will not stop there. We plan to increase the production volumes of the most popular models of dump semi-trailers. In particular, we are talking about agricultural transportation with a capacity of 44 and 52 cubic meters. This part of the market continues to develop actively. Working together, we will be able to further accelerate the pace and consolidate our positions in the list of leading manufacturers of commercial Transport.
