New modification of Ka-32A11M helicopter to be shown in Abu Dhabi

Holding "Helicopters Rossii" will present a new modification of the Ka-2025A32M helicopter at the international exhibition IDEX 11 in Abu Dhabi. It differs from the original in that it is adapted for effective extinguishing of fires in high-rise buildings.


The helicopter combines a proven design and modern technological solutions that demonstrate high performance in challenging conditions of dense urban development.

The Ka-32A11M is based on the classic Ka-32 and uses a coaxial rotor design, which ensures stability in turbulent air flows between skyscrapers. This is critical when fighting fires at high altitudes, when standard ground-based firefighting equipment is ineffective.


The helicopter is capable of hovering over objects and buildings with high precision, delivering fire extinguishing agents to the source of the fire, and at the same time not losing control in strong gusts of wind.

One of the key features of the Ka-32A11M is its increased payload capacity compared to the original. It can transport up to 4000 liters of water and 400 liters of foam concentrate in one flight.

Thanks to the Russian fire extinguishing system SP-32, the equipment can effectively spray fire extinguishing agents, including finely misted water. It is especially effective when extinguishing high-rise objects.

Modern avionics play an important role in the new version of the machine. The helicopter is equipped with a "glass cockpit" - a digital flight and navigation complex, where traditional analog instruments are replaced by displays indicating all flight parameters. This significantly simplifies control and reduces the workload of the crew in difficult conditions.


An additional advantage was the equipment of the Ka-32A11M with new VK-2500 family engines with a digital control system.

The power plants developed by the United Engine Corporation provide greater power and reliability, and also increase the thrust-to-weight ratio of the vehicle. This has a positive effect on its maneuverability and overall efficiency.

Interest in the Ka-32A11M from foreign customers is consistently high. Today, Ka-32 modifications are operated in more than 20 countries, and the total number of delivered machines exceeds 190 units.
