Russia has a new training aircraft – its domestic engine is almost ready

Recently, the S7 Group company presented its “brainchild” – a training aircraft aircraft TANGO. I really want to add "over the abyss", but the technology is interesting. The author of the channel "MotorProject" decided to tell about it. This is a promising development that should replace or at least "lend a shoulder" to the Yak-18T. And after all, it continues to fly, despite the fact that it has long been outdated. Of course, civil aviation pilots need something to get basic skills on. That's what TANGO was created for. Although, if you look at its leather seats, which can accommodate 3 more passengers in addition to the pilot, it immediately becomes clear that they are aiming at the commercial niche.

At first glance, TANGO is not bad. It can fly at an altitude of up to 4 km, while developing a speed of up to 241 km / h. And it can be refueled not only with aviation gasoline, but also with automobile gasoline. But there is one problem inherent in the whole of Russian civil aviation. Despite the fact that TANGO is a commercial model, it also affected it. Initially, the aircraft was equipped with a Belgian-made engine - UL Power 520is.
