GAZ showed several family minivans – they will go into production

The Gorky Automobile Plant presented new models. These are family minivans, which are also universal cars for almost all occasions.


Cars presented in four versions at once. Among them, everyone will find the ideal model for themselves. They have one thing in common - the cars are suitable as family station wagons, allowing some versions to be used for work.

The first minivan is Sobol NN. The model provides convenience, comfort and safety to the driver and all passengers. Among the features of this modification, it is worth mentioning the transformable interior, comfortable separate seats, and smooth ride.


Unlike traditional minivans, the "family" Sobol NN allows you to move around the cabin without difficulty. You can do this even while driving, although, according to the rules, this is prohibited.

If we compare Sobol NN with its analogues, the closest competitor in terms of functionality is the Mercedes-Benz V-class. Of course, the Russian analogue does not have so many options, but our car is several times cheaper. And in terms of maintenance, we observe approximately the same picture.

The second vehicle presented is the Sobol NN 4x4. The interior of this minivan is similar to the previous modification, but has an impressive off-road arsenal. The all-wheel drive of the car is not a "crossover" one, with a clutch, but a Part Time type.

They didn't forget about the transfer case and the rear axle differential lock. Plus, the ground clearance of the Sobol NN 4x4 is higher, and the suspension travel is increased.

For those who need not just a family car, but a full-fledged assistant for work, the Gorky plant offers Sobol NN 4x4 Combi. The model combines the advantages of the previous version, but its interior is not as large. Part of the latter is given over to the cargo compartment.


By the way, the Sobol NN 4x4 Kombi is also suitable for long tourist trips. Not only can its interior accommodate up to six people, but the rear "sofa" can also be folded out. GAZ engineers designed it in such a way that it turns out to be a comfortable sleeping place for 2-3 passengers.

The most affordable minivan in the line is a model based on the Sobol Business 4x4. Of course, it is not as spacious and comfortable as the NN series cars, but it will cost less. By the way, the prices for all GAZ family minivans are still unknown.

The NN series vehicles will be equipped with the only available turbodiesel engines G 2,5.
