Solaris cars can now be controlled remotely

AGR has developed a telematics remote control system transport under the title "Digital car" Solaris vehicles equipped with this technology can be controlled remotely by owners using an app.


The system not only makes transport operation comfortable, but also guarantees a high level of safety due to deep integration into the vehicle’s electronics.

The technology is based on a telematics unit installed at the factory and linked to a mobile application. This system allows car owners to remotely open and close the car, start the combustion engine, sound the horn and turn on the headlights.


The application allows you to view engineering information on the main vehicle systems in real time. This includes mileage, amount of fuel in the tank, battery charge and the current location of the vehicle.

Additionally, you can view detailed reports for each trip, which show fuel consumption, engine running time, driving speed and the driver's chosen driving style.

This data helps the driver better control the vehicle's performance and, if necessary, adjust the driving style.

In addition to remote control functions, the new application allows you to make an appointment for maintenance at a dealer, pay traffic fines and travel on the Central Ring Road (CRR).

In the future, it is planned to add new features, such as integration with parking services and a remote vehicle diagnostics option.


The system is installed on all Solaris models from the factory, including the HS and KRS sedans, the KRX hatchback and the HC crossover. Since the brand entered the Russian market in February 2024, almost 22 thousand cars have been produced at the AGR plant in St. Petersburg, of which more than 19,2 thousand have been sold. Of this number, 23% are sales for business.

At the end of 2024, AGR ranks third in terms of the number of sedans sold in Russia, and its dealer network includes 90 centers. Given the growing popularity of cars with connected services, Solaris continues to strengthen its position in the market.
