Innovative equipment installed at Avtotor in Kaliningrad

The domestic enterprise is undergoing a large-scale modernization. Now robotic machines and devices have appeared on the welding and painting lines. According to the company's analysts, the introduction of new technologies will help to significantly increase the volume of manufactured products.


The welding "robotic arms" on the line have already been fully assembled. The team has moved on to the stage of connecting the monitoring, ventilation and cooling complex. In parallel with the installation of the equipment, personnel training is being conducted.

The foundation of the plant was reinforced for the new equipment. In addition, assembly and installation of metal structures was carried out. The latter are intended for suspended welding machines.


In addition, the "robots" underwent additional calibration. Manipulation was carried out using 3D laser scanning methods.

Completion of the modernization of the enterprise is planned for the middle of this month. Then test production will be launched. As the system is debugged, the plant will be able to quickly reconfigure the lines for different models cars.

Let us recall that Avtotor produces models of such companies as Jetour, BAIC, Kaiyi. In addition, the plant has established production of cars under its own brand "Amberauto". The latest announced new product of the enterprise was the frame SUV BJ60.
