Ural has conquered new heights – they promise to produce 25 thousand trucks per year

The Russian automobile plant "Ural" is ready to launch a new assembly complex. A full-fledged conveyor was also built in Miass. Thanks to this, production volumes trucks in 2025, the number will increase to 25 thousand cars.


A new foundry building will also appear. They promise to launch it by the end of this year. Thanks to this, the import substitution process will be accelerated.

Let us recall that in 2024 the Ural plant was able to increase the number of produced cars up to 20 thousand units. Thanks to the commissioning of the new assembly complex, another 5 thousand trucks will be added to them. Moreover, the demand for the products of the Ural automobile plant is high.


The new assembly complex is one-story. It contains both production and auxiliary premises. There is an extension nearby. It will house administrative and utility services.

Trucks will roll off the new assembly line in the first half of 2025. At least, the management of the Ural plant hopes so.

At the same time, another investment project of the Miass manufacturer is gaining momentum. This is the production of Russian axles and bridges. During 2025, Ural plans to provide itself with these domestic units by 100%. Bridges and axles are presented in the assortment. They have a load capacity from 9 to 16 tons.

The Ural automobile plant has another project that they want to implement in 2025. This is the production of series-hybrid trucks. It turns out that they will move due to electric motors. The internal combustion engine is not connected to the wheels in any way. Its task is to charge the running battery.

The manufacturer is already working on a batch of 10 hybrid trucks. They are intended to "test" the technology. The plant's management hopes that the first commercial serial hybrids will appear before the end of 2025.


It is still unknown what electric motors the innovative Ural trucks will receive. There is no information about other technical features of these vehicles.

It is worth noting that in the last few years, the plant, located in the center of Miass, has been actively renovated. The old premises, built in the 1940s, are gradually being dismantled. The new workshops are not only larger - they are quickly erected, bright and clean, with modern ventilation and heating systems.

Ural is also developing its own logistics. The dealer and service networks are expanding. In general, the anti-Russian economic sanctions have clearly benefited the plant.
