Saab 99 – Swedish old car in perfect condition

Cars Saabs have not been produced for a long time. But there are still many of them in Russia, and you can buy such a car inexpensively, especially if it was released in the 90s. From this alone, it is worth concluding that the bodies of Swedish models are excellent at resisting corrosion. This is not surprising, because the cars were developed primarily for the local market, and it is cold and snowy there, the roads are sprinkled with reagents. But "real" Saabs, as fans of the brand say, were produced only until 1994. Then the brand was transferred by 50% to the GM corporation, which bought it out completely a few years later.

But the guest of the channel "ABW.BY" also has a full-fledged Swedish development. This is Saab 99, created without the participation of Americans. Of course, the car looks strange, but that's its charm. The owner restored the car, and now claims that it will serve for many more decades. Should we believe it? It's hard to say, but the Saab 99 looks almost like new. There is only one question - where to look for spare parts for this car? For now, this can be solved, although, you have to monitor flea markets. What will happen to the parts in a few decades is hard to say. In the meantime, we can only be surprised by the strange design solutions for the Saab 99.
