Holden is the story of a company that built 7,6 million cars and became an integral part of the life of the entire continent. The ute, as a special class of passenger cars with a cargo body, appeared in Australia thanks to a letter from a farmer's wife to the Ford Australia department, and the first models began to be produced in 1951. The video on the YouTube channel "AutoTRENDS" tells about the evolution of such a phenomenon as a ute: from the first FX and FJ models to the iconic Sandman of 1974, which won the hearts of surfing enthusiasts with its bright design and convenience. Each generation of Holden brought new technologies: synchronized gearbox, disc brakes, powerful engines and non-standard configurations like Maloo or One Tonner.
