Linxys G200P – a replacement for the GAZelle with low fuel consumption or another one-day vehicle?
A new representative of the commercial family has appeared on the Russian market Transport. The model is positioned as a competitor to the well-known GAZelle. This vehicle is manufactured by Linxys, a sub-brand of Wuling. There is nothing new or innovative under the hood of the G200P. It can be said to be a classic sequential hybrid from Chinese companies. The tandem includes a 1,6-liter gasoline unit and an electric motor. The power of the power plant is 163 hp.
It is noteworthy that the first one has no direct connection with the wheels, but acts as a generator. The gas tank capacity is 45 liters. According to the manufacturer, this reserve can be used to travel about 600-700 km, depending on operating conditions. If we translate it into more familiar “liters per hundred”, we get a value close to 6,5 liters. This is lower than that of the same “GAZelle”. However, the “passport” consumption of Chinese cars often differs from the actual.
The length, width and height of the cargo compartment "box" are 3,5, 1,8 and 1,7 m, respectively. Despite the relatively budget price, the car received a set of useful functions and options. These include electric power steering, dynamic stabilization and an assistant when driving uphill. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, power windows, air conditioning and a multimedia system with a touch screen and a digital "dashboard". Of course, there were some obvious shortcomings.
