Gelendwagen vs. Rocks, Barbarian and Concrete

The brand new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon model will “live” in the video on the WhistlinDiesel channel for only 22 minutes. However, in real time it will be the same number of days. During this period, the car will undergo such rigorous tests that after the first experiments, the manufacturer will refuse to repair its brainchild under warranty. However, it’s nothing new: we told that things can be worse.

The tests with the SUV, the purpose of which is to confirm or disprove its cross-country ability, take place in a mountainous area. And the main obstacle here is known as the "Gates of Hell": all the nearby owners of jeeps avoid driving on a narrow rocky road with steep (in both senses) ascents and descents. Imagine a slope of 45 degrees, a hole with a puddle at the bottom, and the same path up behind it. Alas, the car stalled right at the very bottom of the obstacle.

The instruments in the cabin seem to have gone crazy: every now and then a message pops up about a malfunction of some system. They only laugh at the warning signs. What kind of "lane keeping" or parking sensor failure is this! There are rocks all around, and a "Gelik". But this is not enough for the testers: a strongman enters the "battle", who literally smashes the car at his own discretion. The panels are torn out, the instruments are broken, what now? Well, maybe pour concrete into the cabin and sprinkle grain on top... How else will they test the G-Wagon? Watch the video!
