The Big Winter Test: Which of the 13 “Chinese” Can Handle Russian Off-Roads?

We wanted to do a test drive of Jetour Dashing, but it turned out to be a real snow "battle" of the most popular Chinese SUVs. This "meeting" brought together 13 cars, including Haval Dargo, Tank of all kinds of modifications, various Chery, Omoda, Jaecoo, Geely and even a couple of Link & Co. The improvised "competition" is not a comparison of the "passport" characteristics and off-road functions of the models, but a real race in difficult conditions. They started with relatively easy maneuvers, and continued with more complex ones. Some cars were able to surprise, while others hopelessly "stuck" in the snow, almost losing spare parts along the way.

The all-wheel drive version of Haval Jolion showed itself quite well. No one expected “miracles” from this car, but it coped with the tasks set, despite the relatively budget price segment. Tank also “behaved” with dignity. Nevertheless, the key question remains open. We are talking about the reliability and service life of the presented models. After all, one or two trips “to nature” can show the level of cross-country ability of the car, but in matters of resource and reliability, this is uninformative. You can watch mass testing of Chinese SUVs on snowy off-road in a video on the YouTube channel “Mikhail Kuldyaev”.
